J&R Tool is a small business that started in February 1994. J&R Tool’s goal is to serve as a federal defense contractor and manufacturer supporting various components of the Department of Defense and the Naval Sea Systems Command. J&R Tool prides itself in being able to manufacture items to tight tolerances and provide precision items to customer specs.
J&R Tool also operates as an integrator in order to provide our customers with COTS items as well as sourced items from other manufacturers with the purpose of giving our customer a complete product in a cost-effective manner.

We also have welding procedures and PQR’s for 5XXX and 6XXX Aluminum IAW NAVSEA TECH PUB S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248.

J&R Tool is teamed up with Innovative 3D Manufacturing in order to be able to utilize their 3D printing capabilities. Innovating 3D Manufacturing is a small business located in Franklin, IN and specializes in 3D printing. They have multiple 3D printing machines that are capable of printing polymers, resins, and both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. They are ISO-9100:2015, AS-9100D and ITAR Registered. Our current workforce is comprised of 15 personnel. J&R Tool has been in business for over 25 years and has over 15 years’ experience working with NSWC Crane and related subcontractors. All totaled, we have over 100 years of combined experience in the manufacturing industry and fabricating a multitude of complex parts, weldments, assemblies, and fabrications.
With extensive experience, J&R Tool offers the benefit of providing the requisite skills needed to successfully accomplish the efforts described in the Statement of Work. J&R Tool’s capabilities meet or exceed those of their peers in both on-time delivery and workmanship. J&R Tool strives to provide the best product for the warfighter and prides itself in the ability to meet the needs of its vast list of customers aboard NSWC Crane as well as other DoD customers.
